Lucky Or Unlucky?

I lost my red jersey at the beginning of the year. What a bad way to start the year! This will be the second time I lost my jersey. I shivered as I recalled how furious my coach was when I told him that I lost my jersey the first time. Now I wonder what he will do this time. Its my second time!

I did not know how I lost my jersey this time. I certainly did not leave it lying on the floor after my training like last time. I have learnt my lesson, but I somehow lost my jersey again! I tried checking with my teammates if they have my jersey as they might have borrowed it from me for training but they all said they did not have it. I am doomed! Now I had to repotrt to my coach that I lost my jersey again.

He gave me a cold stare when i told him the bad news. He told me to get the same shirt and print it out by myself just like before. This may seem eaasy but the problem is that the jersey was very old and they didnt sell it anymore! I feared that I wouldnt get my jersey again like last time. I almost gave up searching when my friend told me that he had seen the same shirt from the internet. I immediately checked it up and he was right! I thanked him for telling me and bought the shirt online.

I had to try to find a place to print out my jersey next. My competition is this Sunday so i had to get it ready by then! I had decided to get it printed today but when i came to school, one of my friend suddenly came up to me and told me that he found my jersey! Was I supposed to be happy or unhappy? Am i considered lucky or unlucky? I didnt know whether to thank him or not. He hd caused me so much trouble but I was too happy to be angry.

Anyway, speaking of jerseys, I got my new jersey just a few days ago. There was only the home jersey so it was important for me to get the red jersey before this Sundays match. The new jersey is not actually a jersey. It is just the Victoria School P.E shirt with numbers printed on the back. My coach said that he would get us a new jersey if he got the time to do so. For now, we will use this as our temporary jersey.

Here is some pictures of my jersey:

As you can see, my jersey number is number 22. What do you think about the number? Is it a nice number? But anyway, the numbers arent really important. It does not really make you a better player. What do you think?

A Special Moment I Enjoyed With My Family

Hi guys! Today I am writing about my June holidays last year. It was quite awhile since the trip but i still remembered the trip very clearly...

I went for a one week holiday to Japan's Tokyo on last year's June Holidays. We went with a tour guide for five days and decided to stay and go around Japan by ourselves.

It was already dark when we got down the plane so we immediately went to the hotel to rest. The hotel was near the airport so we got there within a few minutes. We would travel to Tokyo the next day as the airport was not in Tokyo. We would also change our hotels everyday as Tokyo was pretty big and it was pretty inconvenient to travel back for so long as it might be wasted time.

The next day, we set off to Tokyo which was pretty far away from here. Once we arrived, we checked in to our hotel and leave immediately to go around Tokyo. Tokyo had many huge malls but the things sold there were also very expensive. After going around for hours, we would get back to our hotels, feeling very tired.

We took a train in Tokyo the next day. Looking at how many lines made my mind spin. There were just so many of them! That was when i realised how many times bigger Tokyo itself is than Singapore! We took a ride on the Bullet train, which was the fastest train in Tokyo. The seats there were big and comfortable and it was moving in the speed of lightning! We would go for another round of shopping till the end of the day before checking in to our hotels. One thing i learnt on the third day was that the hotels in Japan are all so small! There was only room for two beds and a small walkway!

Mt. Fuji was our next destination. We took a bus up a mountain for about 45 minutes before we could finally see a clear view of Mt. Fuji. It was a breathtaking sight! We didnt come up to the summit but we went to the shops that were located on the mountain. They sold many souvenirs there which were very unique! We even got to taste Mount Fuji water which was very clean and came from the mountains itself! At the end of the day, we would check in to the hotel which was located just below the mountain. There was even hot
spring there! We got to take a bath like how Japanese
people did!

On the fourth day, we went to Disney Land Tokyo. There was many wonderful rides there which was very different from any other rides i had ridden before. It was a thrilling day! I just hope that we had more time in Disney land!

We were by ourselves on the fifth day as the guide had gotten back to Singapore. My parents decided to try going on the train by ourselves. I dreaded going back to the station as I knew that I would go through a hard time trying to find the right train to our destination. We took so long just to get to the right train! After spending about two hours asking for directions, we finally arrived at our destination. There was many delicious food and many places which sold many souvenirs.  We would go back to our hotel late at night after we walked till our legs almost broke. I felt tired but happy at the same time!

It was time to get back to Singapore the next day. I felt very sad as we were going to leave as I had spent such an enjoyable time with my family and hoped it lasted forever. I hope we will go on these kind of trips again...

Something Unusual That Took Place In School

There was training today from 2-4pm and as usual, there was always fitness which was going up and down to the seventh floor 15 times. This started about two weeks ago as we had to improve on our fitness before the match which is this Sunday.

After training, we were getting ready for our fitness when my coach stopped us. We were getting our jerseys! I waited impatiently for my coach to give me my jersey as i was excited what number i would get. I was the last to get my jersey and was dissapointed as all the numbers i would like was already taken. I got number 22! Well at least the number was not that bad...

After we were released for our fitness, I realised that it was already 4.20 and I needed to leave at 4.30 as I had tuition. I informed my coach but he said i could not leave unless I finished all 15 rounds. Oh no! My teacher would scold me if i was late! We were actually supposed to do all 15 rounds in 20 minutes but we usually took about 30 minutes!

I thought that if I might have a chance at arriving on time for tuition if I did it in 20 minutes so I immediately rushed up in the speed of lightning. I was having some doubts as I wasnt sure if i could do it as my fitness has plunged down tremendously during the December holidays and was even having trouble catching up with my friends! I pushed myself hard and I was so happy when I finished. I check the time and it was only 4.40! I did it!

I left earlier than my friends but I was still late. Well, at least I finished the 15 rounds on time!

Something That Took Place In School

Hello! Today i am going to tell you about something that took place in school yesterday...

There was training yesterday at around two o'clock. Since i was released at 1.40, i had no time for lunch as i had to set up the boards which took about 10 minutes.

When i got to the court, I saw my junior with a new stick. How excited i was! Usually, when somebody gets a new stick, many people would rush to the owner to try it out. Since i was the only one with a left hander stick last year, the only stick i could use was mine, so whenever someone gets a stick, i would just watch as people crowd around to try out the new stick and feel left out. But this time, it was different, my junior owns a left hander stick so i got to try it out!

I only got time to take one shot before my coach came and reprimand me for playing while the others were setting up the court. How unlucky! I felt so embarassed! My coach stayed to supervise us for awhile before leaving to do other things.

To my dismay, once my coach left, all of my friends started to play around again and they forgot all about the setting up of the court! That leaves me alone with one or two other juniors to do all the work! I felt so irritated!

I noticed some litters on the floor and immediately thought of what my coach told us last week. We were supposed to pick up the litters on the court to prevent people from slipping and injuring themselves. As i was busy, i asked two or three of my friends to pick the litters up first as i was busy setting up the court, but instead of putting down their sticks and start helping me, they turned a deaf ear on me and continued playing!

My coach came when we just finished setting up the court and I realised I was the only who havent change to my P.E attire. The rest already had time to change as they did not help in setting up of the court. I immediately rushed to my bag to get my clothes. That was when my coach reprimand me again for the second time of the day for not taking responsibilties over these things! I was not sure what i did wrong! After he reprimanded me, i immediately went to change.

When i came back, my coach scolded the team for not picking up the rubbish in the court.  I was furious as my friends had not listened to me before! That was only the start of the training and I had been chided so many times! I just hope training would end soon!

Fortunately, I did not get any more scoldings that day. Hope that tommorow will be a better day in school...

A Problem I Encountered Today

Today, I went to play soccer with my friends from my old school. I felt so elated to finally get to meet my friends again! I havent seen them for such a long time! Before we started, some of my friends changed their shoes as some of them had shoes not suitable for that playing area. I watched with envy as one of my friends changed to his black Nike Superfly Elite II. I loved that shoe but all i could do was watch him use it with pride.
After playing for about 2 hours of soccer, we finally stopped. It was a great match even though my team lost 6-5. When we were changing our shirts, my friend came up to me and gave me a present.
I widened my eyes. My friend had given me my birthday present! I opened it immediately and I gaped in awe. It was the Nike shoes that i wanted! I can't believe that i had it! I thanked my friend profusely for giving me such a wonderful present.
I went home with a huge smile on my face. I was so happy! But when i went home, and when i thought that this day could not get any better,  i encountered a problem. The shoes didnt fit me! I asked my friend if i could change the shoes for me but he didnt have any time except for next saturday. We agreed on the timing but later, i realised that i was not free next saturday as i had a floorball match on the exact time. " How unlucky of me!" i thought. I just hope to get it changed soon!

My Thoughts About Blogging...

Hi! This is the first time I am blogging and the reason why i'm blogging is because it is my school assignment which carries 50% of my CA marks!
I think that blogs is a good way to express your thoughts and feelings online. It is like an online diary, but people are able to view what you write or comment on your posts so that you are able to know what people think of your issue or matter.
You can also decorate your blog by adding pictures, changing your blog skins or put in some music. You cant do that on a book cant you?
Anyway, thanks for reading my blog and have a nice day!
